Jean Henri Gaston Giraud (8 May 1938 – 10 March 2012) was a French artist, cartoonist, and writer. He was known for his comic Blueberry. His pseudonym was Mœbius or Gir.
Giraud was born in Nogent-sur-Marne. He died on 10 March 2012 in Paris from lymphoma, aged 73.[1]
