Jeanne Manet

Jeanne Manet (born Gilberte Marcelle Lachmann; 27 November 1917 – 15 January 2012) was a French movie actress.[1] After appearing in some French movies, Manet moved to Hollywood. Originally called there as a rising starlet, her roles were generally supporting ones.[2] She was born in Houilles, France.

Career

Manet's career began in 1937. Her best known roles are in Long Live Liberty (1946), Slightly French (1949), Operation Mad Ball (1957), The Flying Fontaines (1959) and in Pepe (1960). She retired in 1961.
