Jesper Juul
Jesper Juul (18 April 1948 – 25 July 2019) was a Danish family therapist and author. He wrote many books on parenting to a general audience. In his book Your Competent Child (1995, in English 2001) he argues that families today have destructive values. The book Has so far (2007) been translated into 13 languages.[1] He was born in Vordingborg, Denmark.
Juul died of pneumonia in Copenhagen on 25 July 2019 at the age of 71.[2]
