John Bathersby
John Alexius Bathersby (26 July 1936 – 9 March 2020) was an Australian bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. He became a priest in 1961. He served as bishop of Cairns from 1986 to 1991, and as archbishop of Brisbane from 1991 to 2011.
Bathersby was born in Stanthorpe, Queensland. He died on 9 March 2020 at the age of 83.[1]
