John Cain (41st Premier of Victoria)
John Cain (26 April 1931 – 23 December 2019) was an Australian politician. He was born in Melbourne. Cain was the 41st Premier of Victoria, in office from 1982 to 1990 as leader of the Labor Party.[1] His father was John Cain, the 34th Premier of Victoria.
Cain died on 23 December 2019 at a Melbourne hospital, aged 88.[2] He had a massive stroke on 10 December.[3]
