John Jeffries
Sir John Francis Jeffries (28 March 1929 – 25 January 2019) was a New Zealand politician and judge. He was a judge on the High Court from 1976 until his retirement in 1992.[1] He was the 14th Deputy Mayor of Wellington City from 1971 to 1974. Jeffries was born in Wellington. He was a member of the Labour Party.
Jeffries died on 25 January 2019 in Wellington, aged 89.[2]
