John A. Volpe

John Anthony Volpe (/ˈvoʊlpi/; December 8, 1908 – November 11, 1994) was an American politician. He served as the 61st and 63rd Governor of Massachusetts. He also served as the United States Secretary of Transportation from 1969 to 1973 and an ambassador to Italy from 1973 to 1977.
