John Watkins (South African cricketer)

John Cecil Watkins (10 April 1923 – 6 September 2021) was a South African cricketer. He was born in Durban, Natal. He played in fifteen Tests for South Africa from 1949 to 1957. His first Test was against Australia and his last was against England.[1]

Watkins died on 6 September 2021 in Durban from COVID-19 at the age of 98.[2][3]
