Jonathan Rhys Meyers (born Jonathan Michael Francis O'Keeffe; 27 July 1977) is an Irish actor, movie producer and model. He is best known for his roles in the movies Velvet Goldmine (1998), Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Match Point (2005), Mission: Impossible III (2006), August Rush (2007) and From Paris with Love (2010).
Rhys Meyers was born in Drimnagh, Dublin and raised in Cork, County Cork in a Roman Catholic family.[1]
