Josef Kaltenbrunner
Josef Kaltenbrunner (22 January 1888 – August 1951) was an Austrian national football player. The goalkeeper played for SK Rapid Vienna and the Austrian national football team from 1907 to 1913. He also took part in the 1912 Olympic Games.

Career
Josef Kaltenbrunner began his career at Rapid. He played for the Austrian national team just a few months later. The background was that the major Viennese clubs had fallen out with the association, so they did not send any players to the international match against Hungary on 5 May 1907. The ÖFV therefore handed over the organization of the international match to the then small club Rapid, which now provided seven players of its own. This team was able to win 3-1.[1]
Because the club got into debt and lost its place Kaltenbrunner moved to Vienna in 1909. 1911 he returned to Rapid and won the Austrian champions twice in 1912 and 1913. Josef Kaltenbrunner was also in the national team squad at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm as the second man behind Otto Noll. After being eliminated in the quarter-finals, he was used in in the games against Italy (5:1), Norway (1:0) and Hungary (0:3). He played his last international match on 15 June 1913 against Italy.[2] His career ended when he was called up as a soldier right at the beginning of the First World War.
