Julia is a 1977 American World War II drama movie directed by Fred Zinnemann and based on the 1973 novel Pentimento by Lillian Hellman. It stars Vanessa Redgrave, Jason Robards, Jane Fonda, Hal Holbrook, Rosemary Murphy, Maximilian Schell, Meryl Streep and Lisa Pelikan and was distributed by 20th Century Fox. It was nominated for 11 Oscars and won 3 Academy Awards in 1978.
