Karl Andritz

Karl Adolf Andritz (13 May 1914 – 19 December 1993) was an Austrian football defender.[2] Andritz played mainly for FK Austria Wien. He played in three matches for the Austria national football team from 1936 to 1937.[3]

Career

Karl Andritz began his career in the youth team of Brigittenauer AC . From 1931 to 1933 he played for the club's first team. In 1933 at the age of 19 he moved to Austria Wien. After the Second world war he played for Austria until 1947. Then he was no longer used there and he went to the lower-class SC Fischamend. 1949 he played for SV Gloggnitz and ended his career after this season. He then ran an inn in Fischamend.

International

Andritz played three matches for the Austrian national football team. He debuted on 27 September 1936 in a 3-5 away loss versus Hungary. His last match was a 1-2 home loss also versus Hungary. [4]
