Kate Wilhelm

Kate Wilhelm (June 8, 1928 – March 8, 2018) was an American author. She wrote works in science fiction, fantasy and mystery, including the Hugo Award-winning Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang, and established writer workshops with her husband Damon Knight. She won a Hugo Award in 1977 and won multiple Nebula Awards in 1968, 1986 and 1987.
