Katsuhiro Otomo

He is best known as the creator of the manga Akira and its animated movie version.[1] He became the fourth manga artist ever honored into the American Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 2012.[2]

France's 2016 Angoulême International Comics Festival hosted an exhibition of art created in tribute to Otomo.
