Kevin Ellison (American football)

Kevin Marcus Ellison (January 8, 1987 – c. October 6, 2018) was an American football safety. He was born in Inglewood, California. He last played for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

He played college football at Southern California.

Ellison died in October 2018, according to the University of Southern California,[1] at the age of 31.[2] After his death, an autopsy revealed that Ellison had been suffering from Stage 2 chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).[3]
