Filter worked fine. If you wish to write the article from scratch, mark it for deletion using {{qd}} and rewrite after it has been deleted. Regards, Pmlineditor (t · c · l) 11:47, 24 October 2014 (UTC)

CamelCase

Change being made: I'm trying to create the page "CamelCase" based off of its Wikipedia Page. However, I can't submit it because it says I'm trying to add an email. I didn't put an email address in and I don't see one on the page anywhere.

Here's a Pastebin link to what I was trying to submit: http://pastebin.com/EGmJ6yTE

Here's the Wikipedia Article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CamelCase

Message of the filter: Your edit has triggered an automated warning because it looks like you are trying to add an email address to this page. This is usually a very bad idea, because it can result in a large amount of spam. In most cases, email addresses will be removed from articles or discussion pages. Regular users can specify their email in their profile. Anyone wanting to send an email to this user can then use the built-in email function. The quickest way to get general help is to use Simple talk. If you believe you received this warning in error, you may report this error.

@Jacobtroetschel:, it's probably just looking for anything that has the format of an email address. It can't verify whether it actually is an email address. The title in reference number 6 in the enwiki article has what could be seen as an email address. You might be able to fake it out by using the encoding for an at sign in the title instead of coding the actual at sign. --Auntof6 (talk) 05:17, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Template:Asbox

Change being made:

Tried to make the template based on the one in English. Even writing here is not being allowed! Although, I wouldn't have this problem if I could edit Template:Stub-template, because there's an error in Template:Sex-stub I'm trying to fix (it links to a category when it should be linking to ). And the category doesn't even exist. Help?

What was it that you wanted to change? If the change is needed only to support the changes you made to the sex-stub template, you should know that we eliminated the sex stub category here a while back. We manage our stubs differently from the way they're managed elsewhere, so that we have only a minimal number of stub categories and related templates. When we eliminate a stub category, we often just redirect the template as was done with this one. I saw that you changed the sex-stub template, but I removed your changes so that it again redirects to the plain stub template. If you have any questions about our stub system, you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Simple Stub Project.
The other thing to keep in mind is that many of our templates don't match the ones on English Wikipedia, and that's often on purpose. I don't know offhand if that is the case with this one. In general, before changing any templates here to match enwiki, make sure the differences aren't on purpose. --Auntof6 (talk) 10:08, 8 December 2014 (UT
