There are three IRC channels for users of Simple English Wikipedia hosted on Freenode:

Channel	Description
`#cvn-simplewikis` ^connect	Anti-vandalism channel for the Simple Wikis (Wikipedia and Wiktionary).
`#wikipedia-simple` ^connect	General chat focused on the Simple Wikipedia. Usually on-topic.
`#wikipedia-simple-admins` ^connect	For discussion between administrators (admins only)

There is a channel that broadcasts the events in New changes.

Channel	Description
#simple.wikipedia	Live Recent changes channel for the Simple Wikipedia. Gives all the changes to the wiki. Usually for bots only.
