Kiran Nagarkar
Kiran Nagarkar (1942 – 5 September 2019) was an Indian novelist, playwright, critic and screenwriter.[1] He was born in Mumbai. His best known works are Saat Sakkam Trechalis (tr. Seven Sixes Are Forty Three) (1974), Ravan and Eddie (1994), and the epic novel, Cuckold (1997) for which he was awarded the 2001 Sahitya Akademi Award.[1][2][3]
Nagarkar died on 5 September 2019 from a cerebral hemorrhage in Mumbai at the age of 77.[4]
