Kitty Hawk is a town in northeastern North Carolina. It is on the Outer Banks. There were 3,689 people living there at the 2020 census.
In 1903, Kitty Hawk got famous when the Wright brothers made the first powered airplane flight at Kill Devil Hills on December 17.
