La Fille mal gardée
La Fille Mal Gardée is a comedy ballet in three scenes. Its title means The Unchaperoned Daughter. The music is by Ferdinand Hérold. The choreography is by Dauberval. It was first performed in Bordeaux, France in 1789. It was then presented at the Grand Theatre in Paris on July 1, 1789. It is the oldest ballet still performed by major ballet companies.[1]
