It was re-recorded in 1990 for Ven Conmigo. The original version of the song called "El Tracalero" (English: ["The Party Boy"] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)) was recorded by Selena's father Abraham Quintanilla Jr. Abraham had his own band called "Los Dinos" from the 1960s-1970s. Anselmo Sanchez Chavez covered the song in 1996.[1]
