Labradorite is one kind of feldspar. It is a silicatemineral, and is special because it is often pretty enough to be used in jewelry. Some kinds of labradorite are called moonstone or sunstone.

Labradorite with rare colors
Labrador is a good example of pseudochromatic gem. This sample colored in light gray color, but we see different colors as a result of light interference in minerals microstructures.
