Laxmi Prasad Devkota
Laxmi Prasad Devkota was a Nepali poet. He is known as the poet with the golden heart. In Nepal, he is called Mahakavi, which means 'Great/Mega Poet', and is considered one of the founders of modern Nepali literature.

Some of his famous works are Muna Madan, Sulochana, Kunjini, and Sakuntala.He was born on 1909 and died on 1959 in A.D.
It is said that he could learn a foreign language within a few hours, just from simple conversation. It is also said of him that he spent all his money treating other people to tea, cigarettes, and snacks.
He was apparently institutionalized in a foreign western nation, and the doctor there said of him - 'You are not mad my friend, you were simply born in the wrong time in the wrong place!'
