Leaf spring
A Leaf spring is a spring type, usually it has been used in vehicles but nowadays current type is not so popular. Using leaf spring is one of the oldest ways to make suspension.

Hotchkiss drive; each side of the rear axle is suspended by a leaf spring. The front eye of each leaf spring is attached to a bracket welded to the frame and the rear eye is attached to the frame using a shackle, which allows the spring to lengthen as it flexes.
