Leonardo Del Vecchio
Leonardo Del Vecchio (22 May 1935 – 27 June 2022) was an Italian billionaire businessman. He was the founder and chairman of Luxottica,[1] the world's largest producer and retailer of glasses and lenses.[2]

In January 2020, Del Vecchio had a net worth of $25.8 billion, which made him the richest man in Italy, and the 50th richest in the world.[3]
Del Vecchio died on 27 June 2022 in Milan, Italy from pneumonia at the age of 87.[4]
