Leonid Potapov
Leonid Vasilyevich Potapov (Russian: Леони́д Васи́льевич Пота́пов; 4 July 1935 – 12 November 2020) was a Russian politician. He was the President of the Buryat Republic in Russia[1] from August 1991 to July 2007. He was born in Uakit, Soviet Union. Potapov was a member of the Communist Party.
Potapov died on 12 November 2020 at a Moscow hospital from COVID-19, aged 85.[2]
