Leroy Jethro Gibbs is a fictional character from the CBS Television series NCIS, played by Mark Harmon.[1] He is an ex-Scout Sniper for the United States Marines turned Special agent. He commands a team for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Gibbs is the most skilled marksman on the team. He is the most skilled at handling violent situations. He is also a skilled interrogator.[2] Gibbs is a natural leader who always accomplishes his mission.[2]
