"Live to Tell" became Madonna's third number-one single on the US Billboard Hot 100, and first on the Adult Contemporary chart. In the image, the singer performing the track, in a medley with "Oh Father" (1989), during 1990's Blond Ambition World Tour.
The performance of "Live to Tell" on the Confessions Tour (2006), where Madonna sang hanging from a cross, was negatively received by both religious groups and music critics.
