Luque
Luque is a city in the Central Department in Paraguay. About 30,000 people live there. Luque is one of the most important cities in the country. The city is the home of Silvio Pettirossi International Airport and the Ñu Guasú Park. The Paraguayan Olympic Committee is in Luque. The continental governing body of football in South America called CONMEBOL, has its headquarters in Luque. During the War of the Triple Alliance, Luque was the capital of Paraguay between 22 February and 7 December 1868.
