M33-013406.63 is a binary star system in the Triangulum Galaxy. M33-013406.63 A is an O-type supergiant with a luminosity of 4,677,000 solar luminosities and has a radius of 80 solar radii. M33-013406.63 B is a B-type hypergiant with a luminosity of 407,380 or possibly 7,912,000 solar luminosities and has a radius of 210.2 solar radii.[1]

The image shows the very luminous O-type supergiant M33-013406.63 in the Triangulum Galaxy. Possibly the most luminous star known, it has a bolometric luminosity of more than 9 million times that of the Sun. This image was produced using stack 1935.063, with three filters at settings r for the red, g for the green, and a dashed line for the blue.
