She is best known for her book *Grafeneck as an Example of Euthanasia in the Nazi State*, which was a thesis published in 2013. This work explores the role of the Grafeneck killing centre during the Nazi euthanasia program (Aktion T4).[1][2]

Work

Ruoffner's thesis/book is listed in the German Digital Library with details about its length and academic origin.[3] It provides an academic and regionally focused study on Grafeneck's historical importance during Aktion T4.

Background

Grafeneck was one of the first Nazi euthanasia centres where around 10,600 people with disabilities were killed by gas in 1940.[4]

Grafeneck has also been examined in academic works such as *Remembering Euthanasia: Grafeneck in the Past, Present, and Future*, which reflects on its historical and memorial significance.[5]
