Mamey apple

The Mamey apple, Santo Domingo apricot, tropical apricot or South American apricot is a berry. It comes from Central America and the West Indies. The trees grow as high as 1000 meters above sea level.

Mamey apples have one seed inside them each. The flesh right next to the seed can be bitter or even toxic.[1]
