Mane 6

The Mane 6 (or Mane Six) is the collective name given to the six main protagonists of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, a 2010–2019 animated children's television series. The group of fictional characters consists of Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity, all of whom are ponies and best friends from the fictional country of Equestria. Together, the Mane 6 represent the six Elements of Harmony. The term Mane 7 (or Mane Seven) is sometimes used to include Starlight Glimmer or Sunset Shimmer, both of whom are reformed antagonists and students of Twilight Sparkle. The members of the Mane 6 are cultural icons both inside and outside of the fandom.
