Maria Simon (sociologist)

Maria Dorothea Simon (née Pollatschek; 6 August 1918 – 8 March 2022) was an Austrian sociologist, psychologist, and scholar. She was the director of the Akademie für Sozialarbeit der Stadt Wien from 1970 to 1983. After her retirement, she was a Senior Representative at the World Federation for Mental Health.
