Mark W. Olson
Mark Walter Olson (March 17, 1943 – September 12, 2018) was an American economist and politician. He was a member of the Board of Governors of the U.S. Federal Reserve from 2001 to 2006. He resigned on June 21, 2006 in order to run the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.
Olson was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He died on September 12, 2018 in Washington, D.C. at the age of 75.[1]
