May Nights
May Nights (Russian: Майская ночь, или Утопленница) is a 1952 Soviet comedy movie directed by Aleksandr Rou.[1][2] The movie is based on Nikolai Gogol's May Night, or the Drowned Maiden and the subsequent opera version by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. It stars Nikolai Dosenko, Tatyana Konyukhova, and Aleksandr Khvylya.
