Medtronic plc is an American healthcare company. The company's operational and executive headquarters are in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and its legal headquarters is in Dublin. It is in more than 150 countries and employs over 90,000 people. It develops and manufactures healthcare technologies and therapies. It was founded in 1949 in Minneapolis by Earl Bakken. He made first battery-powered external pacemaker.[1]
It has been the world's largest medical device company since 2017. It income was $29,710 million in 2017.[2]
