Michael Barrett
Michael Barrett was the last public hanging in the United Kingdom. He was convicted of the murder of Sarah Ann Hodgkinson, one of 12 victims of bombing in Clerkenwell, London. Barrett was publicly hanged May 26, 1868.[1]
