Michel Phaneuf

Michel Phaneuf is a Canadian columnist who writes about wine. Since 1981, 30 editions of his Guide du vin have been published and have sold almost a million copies.

He holds a bachelor in communication from the University of Quebec in Montreal.

The 2010 edition of his guide won a Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. His guide is now copublished with Nadia Fournier.

Since 2007, Michel Phaneuf has suffered health issues: heart problems and Parkinson's disease.
