Michelle Alonso Morales
Michelle Alonso Morales (born 15 September 1994) is a para swimmer from Spain. She has an intellectual disability and is an S14 type swimmer. As of 2012, she lived in Tenerife. She raced at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, England. She finished first in the 100 meter breaststroke.[1] She has been dubbed by the media as "The Little Mermaid of the Canary Islands".[2] She is also considered one of the most important personalities of Spanish sport.[3]
