Mike Carter (politician)
Owen Michael Carter[1][2] (October 16, 1953 – May 16, 2021), commonly known as Mike Carter, was an American Republican politician. He was a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives from January 8, 2013 until his death. Before that, he was Judge of the General Sessions Court of Hamilton County, Tennessee.
In November 2020, Carter was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer while being treated for COVID-19.[3] He died from the disease on May 16, 2021 in Chattanooga, Tennessee at the age of 67.[4]
