Spyros Kyprianou

Spyros Achilleos Kyprianou (or Cyprianou) (Greek: Σπύρος Κυπριανού; 28 October 1932 – 12 March 2002) was an Cypriot politician. He was one of the most important politicians of modern Cyprus. He served as the second President of the Republic of Cyprus from 1977 to 1988.

Spyros Kyprianou died on 12 March 2002 after a long fight with prostate cancer.[1]
