Mimi Pond

Mimi Pond is an American cartoonist. She wrote the first episode of The Simpsons ("Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire"). Producers did not allow her to write more episodes because she is a woman.[1] She wrote two memoirs. She wrote Over Easy in 2014[2] and The Customer is Always Wrong in 2017.[3]

She is married to the artist Wayne White. They have two children, Woodrow and Lulu White.[4]
