Mohamed Atwi

Mohamed Ahmed Atwi (Arabic: محمد أحمد عطوي; 10 January 1987 – 18 September 2020) was a Lebanese professional footballer who last played as a midfielder. He played for the national team from 2011 to 2014. From 2008 to 2018, he played for Al Ansar. Atwi was born in Harouf, Lebanon.

On 21 August 2020, Atwi was hit in the head by a stray bullet in Beirut.[3] He died a month later on 18 September, aged 33.[4]
