Mortal Kombat 2 (movie)
Mortal Kombat 2 is an upcoming American science fiction action movie. It is expected to released on October 24, 2025.[1] It was directed by Simon McQuoid and stars Karl Urban, Adeline Rudolph, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Ludi Lin, Mehcad Brooks, Tati Gabrielle, Lewis Tan, Damon Herriman, Chin Han, Tadanobu Asano, Joe Taslim, and Hiroyuki Sanada.[2] It is the fourth movie in the Mortal Kombat movie series and is also the sequel to the 2021 Mortal Kombat.

The movie follows Cole Young as he trains and attempts to get more people to join the side of Earthrealm to fight against Outworld in the Mortal Kombat tournament.[3]
Principal photography for the movie started in Gold Coast, Queensland on June 22, 2023 and ended on January 2024.[4][5]
