Mustafa Tlass
Mustafa Abdul Qadir Tlass (11 May 1932 – 19 June 2017) was a Syrian senior military officer and politician. He was born in Rastan, French Mandate of Syria. He was Syria's Minister of Defense from 1972 to 2004.[1] He was part of the four-member Regional Command during the Hafez al-Assad era.

He had the rank of colonel general.
Tlass died on 19 June 2017 in Paris, France at the age of 85.[2]
