History

The school (for Nursing) was established in 1903.[2] The junior college was set up in 1955 with one academic department:Child care.

In 1967 this junior college moved to its present campus from Shōwa-ku, Nagoya.

In 1976, another academic department (English Communication) was set up.

In 1982, the third academic department (Liberal arts) was set up.

The first advanced course (Child care) was set up in 1991. The second (English) was added in 2007.

It has taken only women from the beginning.[3]
