Nevada City, California

Nevada City (originally, Ustumah, a Nisenan Maidu village;[5] later, Nevada, Deer Creek Dry Diggins, and Caldwell's Upper Store)[6] is the county seat of Nevada County, California, United States. It is located 60 miles (97 km) northeast of Sacramento and 28 miles north of Auburn.
