Nguyen Van Troi
Nguyen Van Troi (1947–1964) was a Vietnamese assassin. He was arrested and sentenced to death because he tried to kill United States Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara while he was visiting South Vietnam. He was glorified as a national hero.
Nowadays, many streets in Vietnam are named after him.
