Niagara Falls conference

The Niagara Falls convention was a meeting of 29 people in the Erie Beach Hotel, Fort Erie, Ontario. The meeting was from July 11 until 14 July 1905.[1][2] It was the first meeting of The Niagara Movement. This movement was led by W. E. B. Du Bois, John Hope, and William Monroe Trotter. They hepde form the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.[3] The next Niagara Conference was held the next year at Storer College, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.[4]
